Riyadh Season 2026 to Host Fanatics Flag Football Classic with Tom Brady

Riyadh, September 16, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) Turki Alalshikh announced that Riyadh Season 2026 will stage the “Fanatics Flag Football Classic,” a global sporting event set for March 21, 2026, at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh.

The event will feature leading sports and entertainment stars, led by American football legend Tom Brady in his first official return to the field since retiring in 2023. It will be broadcast live on FOX Sports and streamed on Tubi, ensuring wide international coverage. Global comedian Kevin Hart will also take part in the live presentation.

According to organizers, the competition will debut in a round-robin mini-league format with three teams of eight players each, with the top two teams advancing to the final.

Flag football, currently played by more than 20 million athletes worldwide, is recognized as the fastest-growing sport and will make its Olympic debut at the Los Angeles 2028 Summer Games.

Alalshikh said Riyadh Season is committed to hosting world-class events, adding that this will be the largest of its kind in flag football. He noted the event will bring together leading names in sports and entertainment, enhancing global awareness of the sport.

Brady said he was excited to return to the field, relive the spirit of competition, and deliver a unique sporting experience for fans during Riyadh Season.
