Riyadh Positioned as Global Hub Ahead of Expo 2030, Says CEO Talal Al-Marri

Riyadh, October 29 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Talal Al-Marri, CEO of Expo 2030 Riyadh Company, highlighted the Saudi capital’s strategic position as the ideal host city for Expo 2030, noting that 50 percent of the world’s population can reach Riyadh within six hours.

Speaking during a session at the ninth Future Investment Initiative (FII9) Conference, held under the theme “The Key to Prosperity,” Al-Marri said that Expo 2030 is expected to attract more than 42 million visitors.

He stated that the event will go beyond traditional objectives by advancing three strategic tracks — economic, social, and cultural — which are projected to boost GDP, create jobs, and enhance national infrastructure.

Al-Marri added that Expo 2030 Riyadh will generate thousands of direct and indirect employment opportunities, foster strategic partnerships, and support entrepreneurs and startups, reinforcing Riyadh’s role as a global destination for innovation, business, and culture.
