Riyadh hosts Foundation Day celebrations with cultural and heritage events

Riyadh, February 14, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Activities marking Saudi Arabia’s Foundation Day began on Saturday at Justice Square in the Qasr Al-Hukm area, organized by the Royal Commission for Riyadh City and the Emirate of Riyadh Region.
The celebrations include cultural and heritage content showcasing the Kingdom’s history from its early founding stages to the present era. The program features visual displays, interactive experiences, and contemporary documentary-style presentations highlighting key historical milestones.

An exhibition titled “Makhyal Hil Al-Ouja” presents the stages of Saudi state formation, covering the First Saudi State, the Second Saudi State, and the establishment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, culminating in the current era under Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The exhibition uses visual content and interactive experiences along an organized display pathway.
Celebratory activities also include the Saudi Ardha, traditional handicrafts, fashion displays, interactive areas for learning the Ardha, falconry demonstrations, and children’s activities.
The events at Justice Square continue with cultural and heritage activities offered through multiple pathways, allowing visitors to explore the Kingdom’s national history in an interactive and festive format. Entry to the celebrations is free via the “WeBook” platform.
