Regional foreign ministers welcome Trump’s proposal to end Gaza war

Riyadh, September 30 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Pakistan, Türkiye, Qatar, and Egypt on Tuesday welcomed U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposal to end the war in Gaza and expressed confidence in his ability to find a path to peace.

In a joint statement, the ministers emphasized the importance of partnership with the United States in securing regional peace and stability. They welcomed Trump’s announcement of a proposal aimed at ending the conflict, rebuilding Gaza, preventing the displacement of Palestinians, advancing a comprehensive peace, and rejecting the annexation of the West Bank.

The ministers affirmed their readiness to engage constructively with the United States and the parties involved to finalize and implement the agreement. They underlined that the deal should ensure peace, security, and stability for the region’s peoples.

According to the statement, the ministers reaffirmed their joint commitment to work with Washington to secure a comprehensive agreement that guarantees unrestricted humanitarian aid to Gaza, prevents displacement of Palestinians, secures the release of hostages, establishes a security mechanism for all parties, ensures full Israeli withdrawal, rebuilds Gaza, and sets a path toward a just peace based on the two-state solution, under which Gaza would be integrated with the West Bank in a Palestinian state in accordance with international law.
