Riyadh, October 3, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The final lap of the Extreme E electric off-road racing series begins tomorrow in Qiddiya City, Riyadh, and will run until October 5.

Organized by the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation under the supervision of the Ministry of Sport, the event is held in partnership with the Public Investment Fund (PIF), Qiddiya City, and several major sponsors.

The competition will see eight international teams and 16 elite drivers compete on a 3,127-meter desert track featuring high-speed straights, turns, and jumps across challenging sand and rocky terrain.

This year’s finale marks the culmination of Extreme E’s four-year journey in the Kingdom, with previous races hosted in AlUla (2021), NEOM (2022, 2023), and Jeddah (2024).

Officials said hosting the event reflects the Kingdom’s ability to organize world-class sporting competitions and underscores Saudi Arabia’s role in supporting global efforts to address climate challenges and promote clean energy solutions, in line with Vision 2030.
