Qiddiya Signs MoU to Explore Entertainment Destination in France

PARIS, August 25 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Qiddiya Investment Company signed a memorandum of understanding with the French Government on Monday to explore the development of a new entertainment-led, mixed-use destination in France.

The MoU begins a joint process to define the project’s scope, development model and contractual framework.

Any future development remains subject to applicable procedures and approvals in France. No final construction decision, project value, location or delivery schedule was announced.

The document was among several agreements and memoranda associated with the official visit of Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to France.

Qiddiya said the proposed international project would draw on capabilities, experience and partnerships developed through its operations in Saudi Arabia.

Qiddiya City will remain the company’s flagship project and the main reference point for its development model.

The company described the proposed destination as a platform for introducing its Power of Play philosophy in an international market and expanding its experience and partnerships.

The SPA announcement did not identify the destination as the Dragon Ball Z-themed project reported separately by Reuters.
