The wall features intricate vegetal ornamentation that decorates its surfaces, forming a unified decorative composition that highlights the craftsmanship and design traditions developed throughout the mosque’s historical expansions.


According to officials, the decorative elements include floral motifs arranged in geometric patterns that illustrate the artistic heritage of Islamic architectural design.

Among the most distinctive elements is a decorative pattern inspired by the tulip flower, a motif historically associated with periods of flourishing Islamic artistic expression.


The wall has also undergone restoration and maintenance work carried out by the Madinah Region Development Authority in cooperation with relevant institutions.


The conservation work was conducted in accordance with international standards for the preservation of historic structures, with the aim of maintaining the wall’s historical and aesthetic value and protecting its original materials from environmental factors such as humidity.
