RIYADH, March 6, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Qatar will partially resume flights with limited operational capacity as the regional conflict continues to disrupt air travel, the country’s civil aviation authority said on Friday.
The Qatar Civil Aviation Authority said a limited number of flights will operate through designated contingency routes, including services for passenger evacuation and air cargo.
Airspace closures across parts of the region have disrupted travel and maritime transport, with major airlines cancelling flights and vessels facing difficulties transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
Separately, Qatar’s Ministry of Defence reported multiple drone attacks during the day.
Authorities said the country faced waves of attacks involving 10 drones from dawn until evening. Nine were intercepted by air defence systems, while one fell in an uninhabited area.
