Qatar Says Israeli Strike Hit Residential Buildings in Doha Housing Hamas Officials

Doha, September 9, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Qatar accused Israel on Tuesday of targeting residential buildings in Doha housing several members of the Hamas political bureau, calling the strike a “cowardly” act and a violation of international law, CNN reported.

In its first statement after the attack, Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesperson Majed Al Ansari condemned the strike as a “criminal assault” and a “blatant violation of international laws and norms.”

“While strongly condemning this attack, the State of Qatar emphasizes that it will not tolerate this reckless and irresponsible Israeli behavior,” Al Ansari said in a statement posted on X.

He added that the strike posed a “serious threat to the security and safety of Qataris and residents in Qatar.”
