Qatar expels Iranian military and security attaches after attacks

RIYADH, March 18, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Qatar has declared the military and security attaches of the Iranian embassy persona non grata and ordered them to leave the country within 24 hours, the Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday. The decision also applies to staff working in their offices, the ministry said in a statement. Qatar said the move followed repeated Iranian targeting and acts of aggression against the country.
