Qatar emir, Spain king discuss regional security, condemn Ras Laffan attack

Doha, March 20, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call on Thursday from Spain’s King Felipe VI, during which they discussed regional and international developments.
King Felipe VI condemned the Iranian attack on Ras Laffan industrial city and expressed Spain’s support for Qatar in addressing the situation.
The call also addressed efforts to de-escalate tensions and contain the situation, as well as ways to enhance regional security and stability in line with international principles.
