Qatar Condemns Renewed Iranian Attacks on Jordan and UAE

DOHA, September 1, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Qatar has strongly condemned renewed Iranian attacks targeting Jordan with missiles and the United Arab Emirates with a drone.

The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the attacks as a serious violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of both countries.

It said the attacks also breached international law, the United Nations Charter and the principles of good neighborly relations.

The ministry warned that continued Iranian attacks represented a dangerous escalation that could complicate efforts to reduce regional tensions and undermine diplomatic and political initiatives intended to restore security and stability.

Qatar called for an immediate and complete halt to all military operations and attacks threatening regional security. It urged all parties to avoid actions that could widen the conflict.

Doha also called for a serious return to dialogue and negotiations and urged adherence to understandings reached through diplomatic efforts.

The ministry reaffirmed Qatar’s full solidarity with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the United Arab Emirates and expressed support for measures taken by both countries to protect their sovereignty and security.
