Qatar Condemns Houthi Missile and Drone Attacks on Saudi Cities

DOHA, September 15, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Qatar strongly condemned Houthi ballistic missile and drone attacks targeting civilians and civilian sites in the Saudi cities of Khamis Mushait, Abha and Taif, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Tuesday.
Several civilians were injured, while homes and vehicles sustained material damage, according to a ministry statement carried by QNA.
The ministry described the attacks as acts of aggression that showed an unacceptable disregard for civilian lives. It said they constituted a blatant violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and a clear breach of international law.
Qatar categorically rejected attacks against civilians and civilian sites and called for an immediate end to such actions, the statement said.
The ministry reaffirmed Qatar’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for all legitimate measures taken by the Kingdom to protect its sovereignty, security, territorial integrity and interests.
It said Saudi Arabia’s security was an integral part of Qatar’s security and the collective security system of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
The ministry also wished those injured in the attacks a swift recovery.
