Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait shift to remote learning from Sunday after Iran strikes

iyadh, February 28, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait will shift to remote learning from Sunday until further notice following Iran’s retaliatory strikes on Saturday.
Kuwait’s education ministry said it will switch to distance learning and suspend in-person work at schools on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at all educational levels, citing safety concerns for students and staff.
Education ministries in Qatar and Bahrain issued similar statements, saying the move applies to public and private schools as well as universities.
