Qatar Airways to operate limited relief flights as regional conflict continues

Doha, March 5, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Qatar Airways said on Thursday it will start operating a limited number of “relief flights” as the war in the Middle East continues.
In a post on X, the airline said the flights will include departures from Muscat to Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen, London, Madrid and Rome.
It said another route will operate from Riyadh to Frankfurt.
The flights will “support passengers who are stranded due to the current situation across the region,” the airline said.
It said airspace in Qatar remains closed over Iranian fire into the region. Qatar Airways is a key East West carrier.
