MOSCOW, June 2 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Princess Sarah bint Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Executive Director of the International Dates Council, met Russian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Sergey Kozlov at the Saudi Embassy in Moscow, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The meeting reviewed ways to strengthen cooperation in the dates sector and develop international partnerships supporting its growth.
The two sides discussed the International Dates Council’s strategic directions, initiatives to raise the economic value of dates and efforts to expand their presence in global markets.
They also reviewed opportunities to increase the presence of Saudi dates and related products in the Russian market, as well as prospects for trade, investment and value-added processed products.
The meeting addressed the council’s participation in an upcoming international economic summit and its role as a platform for building partnerships and presenting its strategic initiatives.
Princess Sarah said the council seeks to build effective international partnerships that support investment and innovation in the dates sector.
Kozlov expressed support for the council’s efforts and for strengthening communication with relevant Russian entities.
The two sides affirmed the importance of continued coordination to support the sustainable development of the sector and enhance its international position.
