Prince Turki bin Faisal Says Faith and Ethics Are Key to Addressing Global Challenges

RIYADH, June 10 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Prince Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, chairman of the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies, said faith and ethics are essential foundations for addressing global challenges.
Prince Turki made the remarks during the opening session of the international meeting “From Interfaith Dialogue to Multi-Faith Engagement,” hosted by the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies.
He said humanity has the means and capabilities to confront major challenges and stressed the importance of cooperation among faith communities.
The meeting was attended by Muslim World League Secretary-General Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, along with religious leaders, intellectuals, academics and international experts.
Prince Turki noted progress in combating hunger and disease and expanding knowledge, while warning that escalating conflicts are weakening humanitarian rules designed to limit violence and reduce civilian suffering.
He also addressed advances in artificial intelligence, citing its growing capabilities while cautioning against excessive reliance on intelligent systems in ethical and human matters.
