WASHINGTON, September 29, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio discussed Yemen and maritime security during a meeting in Washington on Monday, SPA reported.
The two also reviewed Saudi-U.S. strategic relations and regional political and security developments. Their talks covered freedom of passage through international waterways, particularly the Strait of Hormuz and the Bab al-Mandab Strait, and the continued flow of global trade and supply chains.
They stressed the need for continued coordination on issues of mutual interest and support for diplomatic efforts to address regional crises.
