RIYADH, July 20, Saudi Arabia Breaking News — Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah received separate telephone calls from his counterparts in Qatar, Jordan and Egypt to discuss the latest regional developments.

The calls involved Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, and Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty.

The ministers discussed strengthening coordination and consultation while supporting diplomatic efforts to contain the escalation.

They also addressed regional challenges and efforts to manage them in a manner that serves shared interests and reinforces security and stability across the region.
