Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Elected President of Arab Football Union for 2025–2029 Term

Riyadh, September 15, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Union of Arab Football Associations (UAFA) general assembly, meeting in Riyadh on Monday, elected Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal as president of the board of directors for the 2025–2029 term.
In his opening remarks, Prince Abdulaziz expressed gratitude to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for their continuous support to UAFA and its programs, saying the Kingdom is committed to strengthening Arab sports and enhancing the capabilities of athletes, particularly in football.
Prince Abdulaziz attended signing ceremonies with football associations from Egypt, Iraq, the UAE, Libya, Lebanon, and Mauritania, as well as the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, to host UAFA competitions. The agreements were signed by UAFA Secretary-General Dr. Rajallah Al-Sulami and representatives of the respective associations.
UAFA also signed two agreements with companies to provide referee kits, launch the official ball of its competitions, and market sponsorship rights.
Prince Abdulaziz, joined by his deputies, board members, and general assembly representatives, toured a historical exhibition organized by UAFA to mark the 50th anniversary of its founding.
