Alexandria, September 8, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – President of the Arab Council for Childhood and Development Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal bin Abdulaziz and Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Zayed Hegab inaugurated the sixth edition of the “Talal: A History Read by Generations” exhibition on Monday, coinciding with the International Day of Charity, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.


In his opening remarks, Prince Abdulaziz said the exhibition highlights the humanitarian and charitable legacy of the late Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz, emphasizing its role in consolidating humanitarian values across generations. He noted Alexandria’s importance in Prince Talal’s life, reflecting his dedication to humanitarian causes, development, and Arab unity.


The exhibition includes 11 pavilions narrating key milestones of Prince Talal’s life, from his upbringing and six-decade developmental journey to his passing in 2018. It also documents his early responsibilities and the establishment of 20 institutions across several Arab countries.


A dedicated pavilion showcases Prince Talal’s intellectual, cultural, and developmental ties with Egypt, as well as his close relationship with Alexandria and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. The opening featured documentary screenings and a review of previous editions of the exhibition.


The exhibition, held at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Conference Center, will be open to the public today and tomorrow, accompanied by cultural activities and seminars on Prince Talal’s vision for education, empowerment, and sustainable development.
