Polish Fire Falcon Farm Highlights Breeding Program at International Falcon Breeders Auction

RIYADH, August 6 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Poland’s Fire Falcon farm highlighted its breeding and training program during its participation in the International Falcon Breeders Auction organized by the National Center for Falcons.
Khalid Musli Al-Qahtani, a representative of the farm, said Fire Falcon has participated in the auction since its launch. He said the event enables direct contact with falconers and provides a specialized setting in which production farms can present their falcons.
Fire Falcon breeds saker and peregrine falcons. Falcons produced by the farm can begin preparation for competitions at between four and five months of age, depending on their readiness and level of training.
Al-Qahtani said falcon training methods have developed in recent years through the use of mechanical lure systems and drones alongside traditional programs. The technologies are used to improve fitness, speed and response time.
The farm participated with 107 falcons in 2021, 112 in 2022 and 192 in 2023. Its falcons have achieved high rankings in melwah competitions and at the King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival.
Two Fire Falcon birds were sold for a combined SAR 170,000 at the opening of the 2024 auction.
The International Falcon Breeders Auction receives visitors daily for 21 days at the National Center for Falcons headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh.
