Norway’s Princess Astrid Passes Away at 94, Two Days After King Harald’s Funeral

OSLO, September 11 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Norway’s royal palace announced that Princess Astrid passed away on Friday at the age of 94, two days after she attended the funeral of her younger brother, King Harald.
Wednesday’s funeral was the princess’s last public appearance. Harald passed away last month aged 89, following a reign of more than 35 years.
"Throughout her long life, Princess Astrid represented the Royal House in a warm and dutiful manner," King Haakon VIII said in the palace statement.
