NCM Forecasts Thunderstorms, Hail and Dust-Stirring Winds Across Nine Saudi Regions

RIYADH, October 30 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Thunderstorms accompanied by hail and dust-stirring winds are forecast across parts of nine Saudi regions, the National Center for Meteorology said.
The forecast covers Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, Makkah, Madinah, Hail, Qassim, Northern Borders and the Eastern Region. Fog may form in parts of these areas and Al-Jouf Region.
Over the Red Sea, northwesterly to northerly winds are expected at 12–40 km/h in the northern and central sections. Winds in the south will be southeasterly to easterly at 15–40 km/h.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be southerly to southeasterly in the north and northeasterly to northwesterly in the south, with speeds of 8–25 km/h in both areas.
