NCM Forecasts Heavy Rain and Flash Floods Across Parts of Ten Saudi Regions

RIYADH, October 26 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Moderate to heavy rain could bring flash floods, hail and gusty winds to parts of ten Saudi regions on Monday, the National Center for Meteorology said.
The forecast covers Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, Makkah, Madinah, Qassim, Hail, Tabuk, Al-Jouf and Northern Borders regions. Dust raised by strong winds could reduce horizontal visibility to near zero.
Parts of Riyadh and Eastern regions may receive light to moderate rain, with fog also expected in some areas.
Over the Red Sea, winds are forecast to reach 60 km/h across its northern, central and southern sections. Waves will range from half a meter to more than two meters, with conditions varying from calm to choppy.
Winds in the Arabian Gulf will be northwesterly to northeasterly, reaching 10–50 km/h in the north and 10–25 km/h in the south. The sea is expected to remain relatively calm.
