GENEVA, August 18 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — The Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (Misk) and the United Nations Youth Office have established the Global Network for Youth, which will be officially launched during the United Nations General Assembly in New York in September 2026.
The international network will connect independent organizations serving young people across different regions with routes into global leadership, policymaking and decision-making.
Its work will include developing young people’s capabilities in public policy and advocacy and creating clearer access to United Nations platforms and international forums.
The network will also seek to strengthen the representation of diverse youth voices and underrepresented groups while providing member organizations with tools, data and shared knowledge.
Misk and the UN Youth Office announced the network during the AFS Youth Assembly in Geneva, coinciding with International Youth Day.
The two organizations have worked together since 2018. Misk said the Global Network for Youth is the first platform of its kind established by the foundation in collaboration with the UN Youth Office.
