Kuwait Says It Foiled Daesh-Linked Plot Targeting Vital Facility

KUWAIT CITY, August 12 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Kuwait’s Interior Ministry said on Wednesday it had foiled a terrorist plot targeting a vital facility and arrested a Kuwaiti national it said was affiliated with Daesh.
The ministry said investigations found that the suspect had received training related to explosives and drones and had prepared a drone intended for use in the planned attack.
The suspect was referred to the relevant authorities for further investigation and legal proceedings.
The Interior Ministry said security agencies would continue monitoring activities that could threaten the country’s security.
