Kuwait Says Iranian Drone Struck Residential Complex, No Injuries Reported

KUWAIT CITY, September 2, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — A fire broke out at a residential complex in Kuwait’s Capital Governorate after the site was struck by what authorities identified as an Iranian drone, the Kuwait Fire Force said.
Firefighting teams contained the blaze, which began before dawn on Wednesday, according to Fire Force spokesman Brigadier General Mohammad Al-Gharib.
Crews from the Al-Hilali and Al-Madina fire stations began tackling the fire immediately after reaching the complex and successfully brought it under control.
No injuries were recorded, Al-Gharib said. The incident caused material damage, but authorities did not provide an initial assessment of its extent.
The precise location of the residential complex was not disclosed.
