Kuwait Says 63 Injured After Strikes Damage Airport

KUWAIT, June 3 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Kuwait’s Health Ministry said 63 people were injured after strikes hit the country on Wednesday and damaged Kuwait International Airport.


A ministry spokesperson said seven of the injured required major emergency surgery.


The Indian Embassy in Kuwait said an Indian national was killed in the strikes.


The embassy said it was in contact with the victim’s family and coordinating with Kuwaiti authorities to provide support and assistance.


Kuwait News Agency reported, citing the Defence Ministry, that the strikes damaged Terminal 1 at Kuwait International Airport.
