Kuwait reopens airspace, resumes flights after precautionary suspension

RIYADH, April 22 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Kuwait announced the reopening of its airspace at Kuwait International Airport and the gradual resumption of flight operations after a temporary precautionary suspension of air traffic imposed on Feb. 28 due to regional developments.
Kuwait’s civil aviation authority said technical teams had begun maintenance and repair work on facilities and operational equipment damaged by Iranian attacks and affiliated factions, and said the airport was ready to resume operations.
Flight operations are being restored in coordination with international authorities under a phased plan aimed at ensuring the highest safety and security standards.
Kuwaiti civil aviation chief Sheikh Humoud Mubarak Al-Sabah also thanked Saudi Arabia for supporting Kuwaiti carriers through its airports during the suspension period, and praised Gulf coordination on unified airspace.
