Kuwait Condemns Houthi Attack on Saudi Vessel NCC MASA

KUWAIT CITY, July 26, Saudi Arabia Breaking News — Kuwait strongly condemned the latest Houthi attack against the Saudi vessel NCC MASA in the Red Sea, describing it as a blatant violation of international law and a direct threat to maritime security.


The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the attack endangered the security and freedom of navigation, international trade and energy supplies. It also condemned the repeated attacks carried out by the Houthi militia against ships operating in the Red Sea.


In a statement published by the Kuwait News Agency, the ministry affirmed Kuwait’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for all measures taken by the Kingdom to safeguard its sovereignty and protect its security and interests.


Kuwait also rejected practices that could undermine regional security and stability.


The ministry called for the immediate cessation of the attacks and demanded compliance with international law, including provisions guaranteeing freedom of navigation and safe passage through international waterways.
