King Salman Orders SAR3 Billion in Ramadan Assistance for Social Security Beneficiaries

Riyadh, February 19, 2026 (SABN) – Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, following the recommendation of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has directed the disbursement of more than SAR3 billion in Ramadan assistance to social security beneficiaries.
The initiative aims to support families during the holy month, ensuring their basic needs are met. Under the directive, heads of households will receive SAR1,000, while each dependent will receive SAR500. Payments are expected to be deposited directly into beneficiaries’ bank accounts within hours.
Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Ahmed Al-Rajhi expressed his gratitude to King Salman and the Crown Prince for their continued commitment to citizens’ welfare, emphasizing the importance of supporting vulnerable families during Ramadan.
