King Salman Chairs Saudi Cabinet Session Condemning Iranian Attacks on Kuwait and Bahrain

JEDDAH, June 30 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Saudi Arabia’s Cabinet, chaired by King Salman bin Abdulaziz in Jeddah on Tuesday, condemned continued Iranian attacks on Kuwait and Bahrain and threats to maritime security and freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The Cabinet reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s solidarity with Kuwait and Bahrain and its support for all measures taken by the two countries to protect their sovereignty and security.
The Cabinet was also briefed on a phone call received by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman from French President Emmanuel Macron, during which the two leaders discussed bilateral cooperation, regional and international developments and diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region.
The session also reviewed Saudi participation in regional and international meetings, infrastructure development plans, Saudi Water Week, the 2026 UN Public Service Award won by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority, and Ministry of Interior efforts to combat drug trafficking.
