Riyadh, February 17, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired a Cabinet session in Riyadh.

At the start of the session, the Cabinet congratulated citizens and residents on the upcoming Ramadan, praising the Kingdom’s success in managing Hajj and Umrah in 2025, welcoming 19.5 million pilgrims and visitors from outside the Kingdom, and achieving record indicators aligned with Vision 2030 and the Service of the Guests of the Two Holy Mosques Program.

The Cabinet also highlighted preparations for Founding Day on Sunday, February 22, celebrating the Kingdom’s historical legacy and values established by its leaders and citizens over three centuries.

The session also reviewed economic, cultural, and social activities, including support for the national charity campaign (sixth edition, scheduled Friday) and the success of the third World Defense Show, highlighting signed memoranda, agreements, and partnerships to localize technology and develop military industries in line with Vision 2030.
