King Salman chairs cabinet meeting, approves nuclear talks with Jordan and Turkiye

Riyadh, February 10, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud presided over a cabinet session in Riyadh on Tuesday, where ministers approved a range of bilateral and multilateral measures, including nuclear-energy cooperation with Jordan and Turkiye.
The meeting reviewed Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s recent interactions with leaders from Russia, Turkiye, and Germany, alongside mechanisms to strengthen institutional and sectoral partnerships with foreign counterparts.
The cabinet also approved agreements covering energy, transport, cultural and health cooperation, high-speed railway projects, visa facilitation, and technical collaboration with regional and international partners. Initiatives supporting infrastructure, industrial development, and institutional capacity were highlighted.
Saudi Arabia’s election to chair the board of the Institute of Internal Auditors for the 2027–2028 term was noted, alongside the conclusion of the AlUla Conference on Emerging Market Economies held in cooperation with the International Monetary Fund.
