King Salman Calls for Istisqa (Rain-Seeking) Prayer Across the Kingdom on Thursday

RIYADH, November 11, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Royal Court announced that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has called for the Istisqa (rain-seeking) prayer to be performed throughout the Kingdom on Thursday, Jumada Al-Awwal 22, 1447 AH.
The Royal Court’s statement urged all citizens and residents to supplicate to Allah Almighty for forgiveness, repentance, and good deeds, and to pray for rainfall and mercy.
The Istisqa prayer is performed following the tradition of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) during times of drought, seeking divine blessings and rainfall for the land and people.
