King Salman Appoints Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman as Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources

RIYADH, July 11, Saudi Arabia Breaking News — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz issued a series of royal orders on Saturday restructuring leadership across Saudi Arabia’s industry, energy and military industries portfolios.
Under the orders, Bandar Alkhorayef was relieved of his position as Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources and appointed Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet.
Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman was appointed Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources while continuing to serve as Minister of Energy.
Ahmed Al-Ohali was relieved of his position as Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries.
Alkhorayef was assigned to perform the duties of GAMI governor alongside his new role as Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet.
