RIYADH, December 23 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival 2025 will begin on Thursday at the Saudi Falcons Club in Malham, north of Riyadh, running until January 10, 2026.

Recognised as the world’s largest falconry gathering, the festival will feature 139 competition rounds and offer 1,012 prizes with a total value exceeding 38 million Saudi riyals.

Competitions will be held across two main categories: the Al-Milwah race over a distance of 400 metres and the Al-Mazayen beauty contest. Participation includes local and international falconers.

The festival has secured three records from Guinness World Records for the highest number of participating falcons, reinforcing its international standing.

This year’s edition includes dedicated competition rounds for children, teenagers, schools and women, as part of efforts to promote sustainable falconry practices and broader community participation.

The festival will be open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with activities including falconry exhibitions and educational programmes for visitors.
