July full moon lights up Saudi Arabia’s Northern Borders

ARAR, July 30 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Clear skies offered residents and photographers across Saudi Arabia’s Northern Borders Region an unobstructed view of July’s full moon on Wednesday.
Adnan Khalifa, a member of the Astronomy and Space Club, said the July full moon is known in some North American Indigenous traditions as the “Buck Moon” or “Deer Moon,” referring to the period when male deer begin growing new antlers.
Other communities use names connected to local agricultural cycles, including “Mango Moon” in areas where the event coincides with the fruit’s harvest season.
Khalifa said the names belong to cultural traditions passed down through generations and are not scientific astronomical terms.
