Jazan Festival 2026 to open Thursday with waterfront parade

JAZAN, December 23 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Jazan Festival 2026 will begin on Thursday with a parade along the Jazan Waterfront, marking the official launch of the event, which will run until late February 2026.

The festival will feature a wide programme of events across the Jazan region, combining cultural heritage, tourism activities and entertainment initiatives aimed at attracting visitors throughout the season.

According to organisers, the festival calendar includes major central events in the city of Jazan, alongside activities held in each governorate, as well as ongoing programmes at tourist sites, parks and beaches. Planned activities include shopping fairs, exhibitions of local products and handicrafts, and community, sports, environmental and cultural events for all age groups.

The festival is designed to support domestic and international tourism and contribute to the local economy by backing entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized enterprises and productive families, while also creating seasonal employment opportunities.

Organisers said the event aims to enhance quality of life for residents and visitors and highlight local cultural content reflecting the heritage of the Jazan region, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in tourism, entertainment and sustainable development.
