JAZAN, April 30 — Jazan Commercial Port has exported its first shipment of bagged Portland cement, totaling 8,324 tons, in a step that highlights the port’s expanding operational role in supporting Saudi Arabia’s exports.
The shipment demonstrates the port’s ability to handle different cargo types, including building materials, and facilitate the movement of goods to regional and international markets.
Officials said the milestone reflects growing handling efficiency and improved operational performance at the port, while also supporting national export growth and broader trade connectivity.
