Iranian state media says Natanz site struck again

Riyadh, March 21 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Iranian state media reported on Saturday that the Natanz site was struck again, despite U.S. President Donald Trump saying last summer that key Iranian nuclear sites, including the Natanz facility, had been “totally obliterated.”

The report said the renewed strike raised questions over why the site remains a target after the June 2025 war. Satellite imagery analysis showed Iran had rebuilt damaged missile facilities since then.

The International Atomic Energy Agency has indicated that enriched uranium may still remain at or near the site, while some nearby infrastructure appeared to have remained unscathed. A November assessment by the Institute for Science and International Security said construction had continued at Pickaxe Mountain, south of the Natanz enrichment site, including underground tunnel complexes, one intended for advanced centrifuge production.

The Israeli military said on Saturday it was not familiar with any Israeli attack on the Natanz facility.
