Iran says parts of truce deal now ‘ineffective’ after U.S. actions

PARIS, July 8 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Iran said parts of the current truce deal were now “ineffective” after U.S. actions, including the revocation of Iran’s oil sales licence and new military strikes.

Iran’s foreign ministry said interference with arrangements to clear passage in the Strait of Hormuz had made the interim truce deal unworkable.

The statement also warned countries in the region, many of which host U.S. military bases and personnel, not to allow their territory to be used for new U.S. attacks on Iran.

The statement came hours after Iran said it had launched missile and drone strikes against U.S. targets in Bahrain and Kuwait.
