Iran Says Memorandum of Understanding With U.S. Has Never Been Closer

RIYADH, June 12 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - A memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States has “never been closer,” Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced on Friday, while cautioning against speculation over the content of the agreement.
Araghchi wrote on X that media outlets should avoid speculation until the agreement is finalized.
He added that all details would be shared with the public in due course.
The remarks came after U.S. President Donald Trump criticized Tehran over what he described as inaccurate accounts of the proposed agreement reported by Iranian state media.
Trump later posted a screenshot of Araghchi’s statement on Truth Social.
