RIYADH, March 6, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Iran’s armed forces said they launched a new wave of drones targeting U.S. bases in Kuwait, according to a statement carried by the semi-official Iranian Students News Agency.

The Iranian military said various types of army ground force drones had targeted American bases in Kuwait in large numbers.

The statement said the attacks would continue in the coming hours.

There were no immediate reports from Kuwaiti authorities of damage or casualties.

Kuwait said on Thursday it had intercepted 178 ballistic missiles and 384 drones fired from Iran.

Separately, the Pentagon said an Iranian strike on Sunday killed six U.S. service members at a temporary operations center in Kuwait’s Shuaiba port.
