Iran Reviewing U.S. Negotiations After Strikes, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Says

RIYADH, June 10 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Iran is reviewing its diplomatic path with the United States after U.S. strikes on Iranian targets, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said, warning that negotiations could not advance amid repeated ceasefire violations.
Baghaei accused Washington of undermining diplomacy through contradictory messages, shifting positions and attacks.
He also accused Israel of damaging the process through repeated ceasefire breaches in Lebanon.
“Following overnight events, we need to re-assess the diplomatic path with Washington,” Baghaei said, adding that any diplomatic process requires “a minimum stable environment.”
He said diplomacy cannot “take place in a vacuum” and that a minimal environment is needed for negotiations to advance.
The comments followed the latest exchange of fire, after Iran reported retaliatory strikes on U.S. targets in the region.
The U.S. military reported that it had completed strikes against Iran in response to the downing of a U.S. Army helicopter.
