Iran president says attacks on neighboring countries suspended unless Iran is targeted

RIYADH, March 7, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Saturday that Iran’s temporary leadership council approved the suspension of attacks on neighboring countries unless Iran is attacked from those territories.

The announcement came as Iran continued launching strikes across the region in response to U.S. and Israeli attacks on the Islamic Republic.
