Iran President Links US Framework Agreement to Precise Implementation

PARIS, June 23 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Tuesday that the success of a framework agreement reached between the United States and Iran would depend on full commitment to its terms and precise implementation.
“The effectiveness of the talks depends on full commitment to the agreed obligations and their precise implementation,” Pezeshkian wrote in a post on X.
He said progress would be measured by practical adherence to accepted responsibilities, adding that statements outside the agreed text would not help advance negotiations.
U.S. and Iranian negotiators expressed optimism on Monday following talks in Switzerland, but the two sides have issued differing messages on visits by International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors to Iran’s nuclear sites.
Pezeshkian is due to visit Pakistan on Tuesday. Pakistan has played a mediation role between the United States and Iran for months as the two sides seek a final diplomatic resolution.
