Riyadh, March 11, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said Wednesday that Iran remains capable of striking targets despite U.S. claims that much of its missile arsenal has been destroyed.
In a post on X, Ghalibaf said recent Iranian missile launches since the start of the war had been intended to disrupt enemy radar and air-defense systems.
He said that as a result Iran could now “target any location it chooses with fewer missiles.”
The statement followed remarks by Donald Trump, who said in an interview over the weekend that most of Iran’s missiles and weapons had been destroyed.
Earlier, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it had carried out its most intense operation since the start of the conflict, including missile launches against targets in Israel and U.S. assets in the region.
Iran said the operation included the use of the Khorramshahr long-range ballistic missile.
