Industrial Production Index rises 10.4% y/y in November, GASTAT says

Riyadh, Jan 12, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) said the Kingdom’s Industrial Production Index for November 2025 rose 10.4% year on year, driven by gains in mining and quarrying, manufacturing, and utility-related activities.

The index fell 0.7% compared with October 2025, GASTAT said in its Industrial Production Index bulletin.

Mining and quarrying recorded a 12.6% year-on-year increase in November, supported by higher crude oil output, which rose to 10.1 million barrels per day from 8.9 million barrels per day in November 2024, GASTAT said.

On a monthly basis, the mining and quarrying sub-index rose 0.5%.
